Position in ebook reader changes on lost focus

calibre 5.14 (64 bit) Windows 10 Home
If I have a book open in the reader in full screen and either alt-tab to a different window, or switch to a different virtual desktop, then return to the reader, my position in the book is changed. If Ii try to scroll, the position returns to where it should be.
