Bug Description
The metadata plugin for Amazon changes the encoding of searches to Shift_JIS but Amazon now uses UTF-8 and gives no results to Shift_JIS searches.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.
