non-responsive Calibre 5.11 application

Bug Description
I have downloaded and installed Calibre 5.11 in my Macbook Pro 15" OS X Catalina 10.15.7. But when I try to open it , it does not respond. I always have to Force-Quit the program. I tried re-starting my laptop but the problem persists. I deleted the application and downloaded it again, but the problem persists.
