I recently got an update on my Kobo Aura to Firmware 4.28.18220 (release date is shown as 2021-08-07). Since that update, Calibre is also no longer working. I get the error message as shown in the attachment.

Is there any way I can support in fixing this issue?

It seems that indeed the KoboReader.sqlite file got corrupted during that firmware update (I was also missing some books, although the epub files were still physically present). I also looked at that file directly with sqlite, and it was showing the same error).
After removing that file I had to setup my device again, but after the books were imported, calibre also was working without problems again. Yes, there might have been less drastic measures, but if some parts of that file are corrupt, I felt more like starting from scratch, instead of duct-taping.
