E-book viewer: at some circumstances incorrect ToC entries get highlighted

Bug Description
1. Remove all calibre settings.
2. Open the Quick Start Guide that comes with calibre in E-book viewer.
3. Press Ctrl-t to display the table of contents.
4. Press Ctrl-- _twice_ to decrease the font.
5. Expand "Common Tasks", then "Task 2: Conversion" and click on "2.5: More Robust Conversion" in the ToC.
6. Instead of "2.5: More Robust Conversion", the previous entry, "2.4: Auto Conversion" gets highlighted in bold (circled in red in the attached image).
Calibre version: 5.9,
OS: Windows 10 Home 1803.

The highlighted entry is the first toc entry on the page, not the entry
you clicked on. In your case the first toc entry on the page is 2.4 not
2.5
