Hello,
Calibre 5.9 Windows 10
Preferences -> Import/export -> Adding books -> Auto-merge -> Adding books if they already exist -> Overwrite existing duplicate formats
With this action, the books (epub for me) with similar title and authors are indeed replaced by the added books but the metadata visible in the Calibre library are preserved.
I think this behavior is intended, but would it be possible to have an additional option to override the metadata as well with that of the added books ?
