According to that you have some certificates installed in your windows
certificate store that are corrupted and cannot be parsed by OpenSSL.
Remove those and you should be fine.

 status invalid

Changed in calibre:

Hi,

I am having the same issue.
Could you provide steps, that I have to do?
I have fresh windows install, and still not working.
Which certificates have to remove?

Thanks in advance!

Hi!
Well, I've been informed that error is related with some corrupted
certificates in Windows. I could not find that certificates, so I gave up
from downloading metadata for now. Sorry.

Best regards,
Dejan
