Bug Description

Calibre 4.20 (x64), Windows 10 Home

Unsure if this is something that started occurring with 4.20, or if I just failed to notice it before now.

For the UI font, I use Calibri [11pt], normal weight. UI is in wide mode.

In the cover browser, I have {Title} for the caption and the subtitle set as author. I also have reflections enabled and number of shown books set to 2, if that matters.

Certain letters (mostly seems to be ones with curves) in the font seem to clip along the tops and bottoms, and occasionally the sides. I found a book with a title that shows this well and attached it as a screenshot. It also occurs with shorter titles too so it doesn't seem to be a length issue.

While testing a few other fonts, an interesting discovery: All of the fonts from Microsoft ClearType Font Collection (Constantia, Corbel, Calibri, Cambria, Candara, and Consolas, all tested on 11pt) seem to have this problem to varying extents. Though it also occurred with DejaVu Sans. I don't know if this information will help in figuring out the issue but I added it to the title.

Thank you!

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.
