Library check tries to read system files

Bug Description

When running a check on the library, if a folder is found that Calibre doesn't have permissions for, an error is thrown and the check stops. Certain monitoring software adds special folders in places that do not have read permission for the current user. Calibre should ignore such folders and continue with it's check regardless.

Just enter the folder names into the "Names to ignore" box.

Is this after I run the check? Because sometimes the error occurs before the check window comes up and stops it from being displayed. Maybe create a global ignore in the preferences?

Sorry, I didn't understand the problem you were having. I committed a fix so that permission errors on author folders don't prevent the dialog from opening.
