Bug Description

I converted a libreoffice with many numbered heading.
The numbering is automatically generated so during the conversion I lost it.
With CSS I can recreate but I need to manage a single xhtml file.

Could be useful add a new feature to add numbering to heading, with starting number, type, previous and after characters (like LibreOffice does).

And a new feature to update the cross-referenences with the heading number, text or both (like LibreOffice does).

In the xhtml document I've this structure:
<h1 id="toc_0"><span class="calibre_numbered_heading"> previous char <span id="anchor10">1</span> - </span>First heading</h1>

I suppose we can ipotyze a special class for span (e.g.: calibre_numbered_heading).

But, I observed that Libreofficce add many other tags that suold be striped out.

Save your file as docx in LibreOffice and convert that, you will get
much better results, including automatically numbered headings.
