Calibre automatically shuts down short time after starting the programm

Since a few time, the programm automatically shuts down after a short time. It doesn't play a role if I'm doing sth or not. I think it's a problem resolving out of one of the latest updates.

What operating system is this? And what does shut down mean? Doe sth
ewindow close? Is the calibre proces still running?

This is a actual windows 10.
The window closes and the process doesn't continue running.

Try running calibre inde bug mode (right click the preferences button
and choose restart in debug mode)

This is because of the android phone/tablet you have connected. Some MTP
evices have been known to cause crashes in the WPD driver. Sadly I have
never been able to get my hands on one to debug th ecrash. You can
either avoid connecting it while calibre is running or disable the MTP
plugin in calibre under Preferences->plugins.

thx. I'll try and hope it'll work without the connection.
(But in former times i've never had problems with my connected android... very strange)
