Bug Description

I just updated Calibre to 4.12 (I run Win7), and tried to look up a phrase in a book I'd opened with Calibre's e-book viewer. The results now display in their own window. I don't think that's necessary, but I can get used to it.

The problem is, it won't navigate to any of the results in the text proper. Which, as far as I'm concerned, makes the search function useless.

I looked up that phrase in order to find that section so I could reread it. The search function now only says "yes, that's in the text", and it will highlight it. Off screen, if that's where that selection is. Then I have to scroll through the text and hope I notice the highlight? As I said, useless.

I don't know if this is a bug or was a deliberate choice, but PLEASE make navigating to a search result at least an easy option. As it is, scanning for a highlight is incredibly inefficient, and I'm seriously considering reverting Calibre to a previous version to try to get back the old reader.

Somewhat off-topic: I miss the scroll bar in the reader. Please make it at least an available option again.

Thanks.
