Bug Description
When opening the E-book viewer with no book selected, I get the Open a new book screen in full screen which don't have a way to turn off full screen mode and no way to quit. Please add a way to quit in that screen.

Could you just make so that full screen mode closes when clicking the ESC key?
Kovid Goyal (kovid) wrote : | #3 |
The Esc key is used to display controls, remember.
Jonatan Nyberg (jony0008) wrote : | #4 |
If the viewer is not opened in fullscreen mode, it would fix the problem.
Kovid Goyal (kovid) wrote : | #5 |
The viewer is not opened in full screen mode unless you either set it to
remember window size or pass the --fullscreen command line argument.

I see, my mistake then.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.
