Bug Description

There is in version 3 a keyboard shortcut in the viewer to see the book metadata: Ctrl+i . I use it very often. I didn't find this keyboard shortcut in version 4 of Calibre, it's the only thing that prevents me from using this new version. I know there is a button in the toolbar. But the keyboard shortcut allows me to program a button on my mouse.
Can you put this keyboard shortcut back to see the metadata in the viewer?

operating system : Windows 10

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.

Thanks for watching, you made it fast.
I tried the new version. The keyboard shortcut works well to open the metadata in the viewer. But I was disappointed at first because pressing the shortcut again does not close the metadata, unlike version 3. Then I saw that it's possible with the right mouse click, so it's ok.
I notice that it's the same with several toolbar buttons, with the mouse: Preferences, Metadata, Show Viewer Controls. You can open them with the buttons, but not close them with the same buttons. I don't know if this is intentional. They can still be closed with the right click. Maybe it would be better to also be able to close these menus with the same buttons? The button is pressed once to open, and the button (or keyboard shortcut) is pressed again to close.
I also tried to reassign the metadata keyboard shortcut (even though I don't need it) to Ctrl+i, after removing the original Ctrl+i shortcut from the inspector. And when I press Ctrl+i in the setting, it displays Ctrl+Tab, and both keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+i and Ctrl+Tab) display the metadata. It's the same thing if I want to put the inspector back on Ctrl+i.

Calibre 4.11.1, Windows 10, french keyboard.

Ctrl+i is a bug in Qt, I will work around it for the next release.
