Calibre 4.1 on Windows 10
Page layout set to default, viewer sized to show two columns, remember current page set. When book is at the beginning of a new chapter (in the left column) and the viewer is closed and reopened, the position jumps one page ahead. This can also be reproduced by changing a setting, such as the color scheme, and then existing settings back to page view. Again, the position jumps ahead if it was at the start of a chapter when settings were opened and a change was made, doesn't happen if no settings changed.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.
