filter-function doesn't work with libraries >30000 books

Bug Description
I have a huge library with more than 32.000 books, most of them are epubs.
Up to 20.000 books I could filter the books by format and would only see the filtered result.
Since the lib grew to more than 32.000 books the filter doesn't work anymore. When filtering for example pdf-format I still see my epubs, and only if I scroll down to a pdf-formatted ebook, the line is green.
