Bug Description

Version 3.45.2 (downloaded & installed 2019-07-13) (Windows 10)

Ealier this evening I downloaded epubs from a trusted source and attempted to convert them to mobi format using the built-in calibre converter. Of the 22 files, 4 failed to convert. I checked each failed file in Sigil 0.9.13, made small changes and recompiled them. The Calibre conversion again failed for all four. The built-in calibre reader was able to read the epub files without errors

I have not updated the calibre 3.44.0 on my spare computer and so tested the files on that machine. All - original and Sigil-modified files converted quickly and flawlessly. The Amazon Kindle desktop and the SendToKindle Apps accepted the mobi files, which could read without error on my Kindle, iPad and Android phone.

I removed calibre 3.45.2 and re-installed calibre 3.44. The files converted flawlessly and again were readable on the Amazon apps.

Is Anyone else having similar problems?

Mike
