Bug Description
I convert a file (usually a pdf) to epub. Most won't have a proper cover, I add a cover. When I upload to google play books, the cover is not displayed. Yet when I edit in Sigil, and I add the same picture as cover, it works. I think there is some incompatibility issue with your titlepage and google books, that it doesn't recognize it as a cover.

Sorry I cannot repicate. Steps I tried:
1) Add a PDF file to calibre
2) Set its cover to some image
3) Convert to EPUB
4) Upload EPUB to google play books
5) Cover is visible
status invalid
