Bug Description
Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is a bug or my preferences are messed up or I can't find the proper checkbox to get rid of this but I have a problem with the last line of my Epub ebooks being cut when reading books on my computer using the E-book viewer application.
This is what's happening:
https:/
and then if you go to the next page, the top is the other cut off portion:
https:/
Sometimes it chops that last line in a way that you can't even read it. If you don't see it, try resizing the viewer and then use forward/back to check out the bottom of pages.
I've attached the epub as an example. This epub is saved from a webpage (maybe that's the issue?). Epub renders perfectly on iPad and Kobo and those don't cut the last line.
How do I fix this? Why doesn't Ebook Viewer shift that last line that doesn't fit onto the next page? It makes Ebook Viewer extremely annoying since I always have to resize it to see the last line.
Thanks!
Version: calibre (calibre 3.27.1) under Linux. Also happens on Mac.
Use paged mode not flow mode (the yellow scroll icon in the top right corner of the
window). In flow mode the viewer works like a browser, where you can
scroll by pixels rather than pages, so just as in a browser you can get
cutoff lines.
