What do you mean by tab section? Can you post a screenshot?

Ah you mean the tag browser. Well, I cant think of any changes in
calibre that could cause this, and I have seen no other reports of it,
nor can I make it happen on my windows computer, so it seems likely that it is
caused by something having changed on your system. But, you can easily
check by downgrading to previous calibre releases, the old releases are
linked to on the calibre windows download page.
