Bug Description
I have noticed many times that when I download the Economist weekly, there are semicolons inserted after certain abbreviations - AT&T and A&E in the following examples from this week. I thought it was the Economist inserting the semicolon, but after looking closely at their site posting, I conclude that Calibre is inserting the semicolon when it produces my mobi. Examples:
a company with a heft similar to that of AT&T; and Verizon.
Data from NHS England show that around 5,000 people attend major A&E; units more than 20 times each year.
I am using Calibre 3.23 on Windows 10
