Bug Description
Calibre version 3.17
Mac OS X 10.13.2
I have Custom columns for a Date, a Yes/No and a Floating Point number.
When the book list is split, trying to edit one of these columns when it is showing in the second part of the split causes the editing popup to appear in the wrong place -- offset to the left by some distance I haven't been able to work out. It varies depending on where the split is set, and where the two sides are scrolled to. Sometime it even appears in the correct location.
Most obvious:
Set the book list split to display just the first column in the left split. Have the custom colums towards the end of the second split, and have the split scolled so that they are visible at the right hand side of the split. edit the Yes/No custom column. The Date custom column seems to appear in the right place, but whether this is because it's a date or because of something else I don't know. Ah - when it's first set it's in the right place, once set and edited it's in the wrong place.
Screen shot attached. Note that the Date popup is for the "Finished" custom column, not the default Date column
Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.
