[Enhancement] Allow filtering in Tag manager search

The search function in the tag manager only highlights search results.

It would be great if an option could be added to allow filtering/restricting the tag list search results instead of highlighting them similar to the search function on the main interface.

This is not worth the effort for me personally. If some one else wants to implement it, I will be happy to supply any needed guidance. If so, re-open the ticket and we can discuss it.

Note that if you use the virtual library feature, the tag manager is
restricted to diwsplay only data from the books in the current virtual
library.

Just tried it. The tag browser only shows the tags for the current virtual library.

The tag manager still shows the complete list of tags, even those that are not used by the current virtual library.

@charles: I think the OP is talking about the manage X dialogs accessed via right click from the tag browser.

@OP: just to be sure, are you talking about the "Manage Tags" that you get via right-click on the tags line in the tag browser? It has the window title "Category editor (Tags).

Yeah, I would imagine so.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.
