First, A Dearly Love Calibre, Great Application. But I have an Issue.

With this condition, I am unable to modify/correct the Meta Data, as this exception appears.

My actions were to edit Meta Data for a single record. I tried to apply 3.14, but my antivirus (Norton), balked and removed the file. second attempt, highly recommended not installing. I don't think this is a Version issue.

Please Advise,

Thank You for your help

That error indicates something is interfering with calibre's access to
its library folder. Typical culprits are:

1) An antivirus program - try excluding the calibre library folder from
the antivirus program
2) DropBox oor similar file sharing program -- dont run them at the same
time as calibre
3) Putting your calibre library ona non native filesystem, such as a
networked drive
