Highlight search results option not preserved

Bug Description

Highlight search results instead of restricting the book list to the results in Preferences->Searching often get checked back after I have unchecked it. I wonder if it has something to do with toggle library, I think it is strange?

There are various third party plugins that do that, see the sticky in
the calibre forum about it.
