Would like to see the same cover info that is shown on the details panel to also show in the details list when using the menu to look.

Cover dimensions are shown on the details panel, but not when I move through the details page using the drop down menu. When covers fail to show on my Kindle it helps to know what the cover dimensions are so that I might figure out why.

And just FYI cover sizes are irrelevant to whether they display on the
kindle or not, since thumbnails are automatically resized before being
sent to the kindle by calibre.

I am referring to the "view book details" feature listed in the menu.

The cover that is shown doesn't list aspect ratio. I know that Amazon does resize the covers but I have come across failed covers because they were way off or the file size was too big.

Regardless of why a user would want to know the dimensions of a cover, being able to see them in the "view book details" as well as the details panel would be nice. Maybe the file size could also be listed?

You can see the cover size by hovering your mouse over the cover in that
popup window.

I'm afraid I have no interest in also displaying file sizes.

I just realized you may think I am talking about books that are uploaded to
my account via "send to Kindle". I haven't been doing that. For my own
reasons after purchasing books I edit them and sideload them to my device
rather than upload via "send to kindle" so I am not sure if Amazon still
changes the dimensions, but I have found books that don't show when the
size or dimensions are beyond certain parameters.

calibre, not amazon, resizes covers when sending to the Kindle.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.
