gives error message... they have changed the way in in 2015 and this plug in has not been updated to match.

Plugins are written by users and aren't supported by calibre. calibre is
only responsible for making sure that the *framework* for running user
plugins works.
Please post your problem on the MobileRead forums in the calibre plugins
