Bug Description
I've recently been cleaning up a lot of epubs by replacing tiny low-res jpgs with better pngs. I noticed this minor bug so I thought I'd report it.
I start with an epub which Check Book tells me has no errors.
In the File Browser, I use the 'Replace xxx.jpg with file ...' option to swap in a better yyy.png file.
It all works effortlessly. All the relevant html and opf references are correctly changed.
But ... I re-run Check Book and it reports an error which doesn't actually exist, because the Editor has already done what needs to be done:
'The file images/yyy.png has its mimetype specified as image/jpeg in the OPF file. The recommended mimetype for files with the extension "png" is image/png. You should change either the file extension or the mimetype in the OPF.
I can verify there is no problem by saving the epub as-is and re-opening it. Check Book tells me there are no errors.
Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every Friday.
