Bug Description
I get a reproducible crash (assert in QStyledItemDelegate due an invalid index) on every startup. Please see thread 1 of the following backtrace. My system is Debian testing with Calibre 2.71, self-compiled Qt 5.7.1.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every Friday.
