Kobo attaches to PC via USB and is visible. But, Calibre no longer recognizes the
reader. Does still work on old Linux version of Calibre.

Windows 10 PC; Kobo Touch.

That error looks like you are attempting to open the configuration for the KoboTouchExtended driver. If so, it is probably related to bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/calibre/+bug/1635909. For that, I thought I had solved the problem, but it looks like I haven't.

There are instructions in that bug to remove the configuration file "device_drivers_KOBOTOUCHEXTENDED.py". That should solve the problem, but will require you to redo the configuration. Before doing this, can you please attach the file to this bug so I can s what is going on.

Hi David,
File attached.
For info - I upgraded Calibre on my Linux Mint 17.2 machine, and now that will
also no longer attach to the Kobo. USB connection is fine.
