Bug Description
When editing fields in the main screen or within dialog boxes (Mac OS X 10.8) and Calibre versions 2.62 and higher, the top choice is automatically selected when a mouseover is performed.
For example, when the tags field is edited on the main screen (or in the edit bulk screen) and the first letter of a tag is typed in, the field provides a drop down list of possible matches (ie "f" shows "fantasy" or "fantasy unread") in a alphabetical list. Normally, this allows one to select an option using a mouseclick or arrow navigation and enter. The arrow nav and enter selection works fine, but when a mouseover is performed on the drop down list, the very top option is automatically (and rapidly) selected and the menu closes. This occurs in any drop down menu that has more than one suggested option.
I cannot replicate this on my OS X 10.11 machine -- hovering the mouse
over choices in the completion popup only highlights the choice, it does
not trigger it. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to a machine
running 10.8 to test on, so I'm afraid there is not much I can do about
it.
