get error stating trouble detecting device. Moved book to main memory but does not show on kobo

That error could mean a few things. The driver is trying to open the database on the device. This is the file "KoboReader.sqlite" in the directory ".kobo" on the device. Does this exist?

If the database is there, can you write to the device? Does it show the files for the books?

As this is a Kobo WiFi, has the firmware been updated recently? Does the device still show books on it? And otherwise work OK?
