Bug Description

Hi,
I have been using the sharing books by email feature for a couple of years now and I have noticed that you can only send one book via email per session of Calibre. That is to say if you attempt to send an additional book in the same session of Calibre that you just used to send the first one the progress meter starts up and then sits and spins forever until you abort the process.
I am currently using a gmail server to do the transfer and it works fine in every other regard with the exception of only being able to send one book per session. I find that I have to leave Calibre and re-enter it to send another book and so on.
My gmail server settings are as follows: Hostname: smtp.gmail.com Port: 587 Username: <email address hidden> Encryption: TLS
Calibre version 2.57.1
Windows 7 64-bit Home

Thank you,
-Dennis Koble

calibr waits five minutes between emails when using gmail to avoid the
emails being tagged as spam. You can control that interval in
Preference->Tweaks
