Bug Description
I was reading a book using a built in EPUB book reader. I have used a secondary screen (secondary display) with much higher resolution, thus larger pages. I have closed the book in the middle of chapter. When opening the same book in the EPUB book reader later, this time using primary screen with lower resolution, thus smaller and more numerous pages, I have landed more than one chapter earlier.
Steps to reproduce problem:
1. Attach a second screen, with higher resolution, or switch screen to higher resolution
2. Open a book in EPUB reader in a second screen, or at higher resolution
3. Go to middle chapter
4. Close reader
5. Detach a second screen, or switch screen to lower resolution
6. Open the same book in EPUB reader
Expected results:
* Book is opened in the same place it was closed at
Actual results:
* Book opened in different place, in my case more than chapter earlier
Alternate possibility is that the chapter the book was at when reopening it for a second time was a chapter when (for a reason) I have opened a second book from Calibre... though I think it is less likely.
Calibre 2.55 [64bit]
MS Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64bit
I cannot replicate this, steps I tried:
1) Open book and scroll to somewhere in the middle
2) Maximize viewer window, making it much larger than before
3) Position is retained (+- 1 page in paged mode, and exact in flow
mode)
