Bug Description

Hi,

Calibe 2.49, Windows 10 Pro. iTunes 12.3.2.36 (64bit).

i wanted to upload epub books using Calibre 2.49. As soon as i Connected to iTunes the main iTunes window disapeared. I am using windows 10 most recent patches and iTunes present version 12.3.2.36 (64bit). I was not able to bring up the main window from the taskbar nor the mini-icon. Alt-Tabbing also did not work. The task manager showed iTunes not as an App but as a Background process.

Reverting to 2.48 worked. I do have 2 monitors though so perhaps that aggrevated the problem.

Any logs etc. I can post?

Regards,
  Duncan

OK something did change!

In 2.50 the iTunes windows disappears and the iTunes process is not shown as an application but as a background task. Just as in 2.49.

BUT in 2.50_ if you click iTunes once again, the iTunes window immediately comes back and sync/send to device/drag to iTunes icon works again.

So I can use 2.50. Not sure if the disappearing iTunes windows is intended.
