Bug Description
30 seconds after opening calibre 2.45 and 2.46 I get the message 'calibre.exe has stopped working' when my Kindle Keyboard B008 is plugged in. I removed the Kindle whereupon 2.45 opened and ran. I converted the downloaded book.txt into MOBI then connected my Kindle again and again calibre stopped working.

Restart calibre in debug mode (right click the preferences button) and
then plug in your kindle and post the debug log. Most likely you hvae a
file on your kindle that is causing one of the metadata reader plugins
to crash. The debug log will hopefully pinpoint which file it is.
