Bug Description

My kobo is not recognized by calibre.

It worked well before Windows 10 (with Windows 7).

I don't know if the problem is coming from Windows 10 or calibre 2.36.
Windows 10 recognizes my kobo reader, but not calibre.
I tried with an other computer with Windows 10 and calibre 2.36 and it works well. My kobo had been recognised.

The debug file on my PC is as follow :

calibre 2.36 isfrozen: True is64bit: False
Windows-8-6.2.9200 Windows ('32bit', 'WindowsPE')
32bit process running on 64bit windows
('Windows', '8', '6.2.9200')
Python 2.7.9
Windows: ('8', '6.2.9200', '', 'Multiprocessor Free')

Does Window show the device? Is it mounted as a drive and can you access it? Can you copy a file to the drives?

This really sounds like it is the PC or something about Windows on it. As the device is recognised by calibre on other Windows 10 PCs, it suggests that something is blocking it on this PC. There has been reports on MobileRead of PCs upgraded to Windows 10 and calibre not seeing different ereaders including Kobos. Two threads are http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=263743 and http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=263579. From memory. there are similar threads for Kindles and Sony ereaders. Again from memory, the issue was Windows 10 not mounting the device properly.
