Unusual Sapiens v2 not detected

Bug Description

In a Windows 10 64 bits, the e-reader Unusual SapiensV2 is detected and I can be able to push e-books with the method of copy-paste as an external device, but calibre does not detect the e-book.

In the configuration after the installation, Generic E-ink was selected.

In the debug section, the following log is shown.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every Friday.

I appear to be having a similar issue as this, only on a Mac running OS 10.10.5. Can you confirm that this is the same error, and thus fixed in the next release (which should be 8/28/2015?)

That has nothing to do with ereder detection, it is apermission denied
error when starting the calibre ebook editor. See
