Also tried the "More Intelligent Life" publication and that succeeded however has not yet arrived on my Kindle, so presumably the email failed.

Looks like a couple of bugs.

Thanks

That error indicates the Economist server failed to respond, it is
likely having issues, you should try again later.

As for email delivert, see:

Kovid,

Thanks, have tried several time now and it always gives the same result, I've tried different time of day etc so it looks like it is the request rather than the server infrastructure that is causing issues.

On emails, if it get to the point of working I'll have it send to my domain, which is trusted and then set up a rule to forward to my Kindle, thanks for this.

Looks like status should be reset to bug.

Works for me, if the problem is not server related then it is likely
that something on your computer, most likely an antivirus or firewall is
blocking the download process after a certain amount of activity -- the
economist download is fairly large.

OK, I'll try it again once I get home and am working on my own infrastructure, the limitation here might be a slow internet connection as it's only 8MB. At home I have 100MB.

Cheers
Kevin

Please see earlier response. I am still away for summer. I will be able to investigate this further in October. Please change status back to incomplete.

You are welcome to re-open the ticket when you have additional data, but since no one else has reported this issue and I cannot reproduce it, this ticket is going to remain closed for now.
