Bug Description
I love the subgroup functionality of the sidebar and being able to drag and drop items directly into nested tags but I would like the expanded/collapsed state of all the sidebar trees to be persistent. The sidebar fully collapses every time I exit which is frustrating because the next time I open Calibre I need to expand out my whole subgroup tree. Going beyond 1 level of nesting is frustrating when the whole thing keeps getting collapsed. It should stay how it is until the user changes it.

This is not worth the effort for me personally. If some one else wants to implement it, I will be happy to supply any needed guidance. If so, re-open the ticket and we can discuss it.
