Bug Description
Since some ebook readers have some trouble with displaying the metadata of custom columns, it would be awesome if there was the possibility of transferring only specified columns to the device.
I do not want to delete the custom columns in general since they are containing important information, which I am using to generate the book title displayed by the ebook reader.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully some other users would find this feature usefull, too.

I dont understand your problem. If an ebook reader cannot read custom
column metadata, what does it matter. It will simply ignore it. You dont
gain anything from not transfering the metadata to the device.
And I hope you are aware of the Metadata plugboards feature, which
allows you to transfer metadata from different fields into the
title/author fields, when sending books to devices. This was designed
specifically for devices that do not support extended metadata.
