Bug Description
calibre v2.23 Windows7 x64 (but 32-bit calibre installed). The problem also existed on v2.22.
If I open an epub which contains some .gif images in the calibre Editor, then try to rotate one of the gifs, using the Rotate Image toolbar button, the gif gets destroyed.
If I run Check Book after the rotate the error message is: 'The file blahblah.gif is empty'
and the suggestion is 'This file is empty, it contains nothing, you should probably remove it.'
I can confirm that running Check Book before the Rotate action showed a clean epub. I've also tried several different epubs with gifs and had the same problem each time.
