Bug Description

Quickview is a great little tool, I use it a lot, and while the floating window is easy to move or close, it always seems to be covering info I want to compare, or blocking websites or ebooks that I open while using it. Seems to me it would have a lot more utility if it were docked... maybe split with the main book list.
Expanding the query options would be nice as well, offering option for expanded fuzzier author matching (ex: Jane Doe -> J. Doe, Jane X. Doe, or Jane Doe-Smith): fuzzier series matching (Jane Doe -> Jane Saga, John & Jane Doe, Jane Doe (by smith), A Jane Doe Mystery, Inspector Doe, etc...), Matching authors or series with other custom name/series fields; or even Matching a title, series, etc... in the tags or comments field

Code for docking QV has been submitted and accepted. It will be in the next calibre release.

QV uses the calibre search mechanisms. If one day fuzzy search is added to those then QV will use them. Until then, it is a "won't fix"

Cool, thanks, the docking will be nice.

I assume this request will close out, should I resubmit a separate request for the fuzzy search?
