Bug Description

Linux: Centos 7
Calibre: 2.3.0
EReader: Sony PRS-350 Pocket

Attempt to write book to device, "Collections" not written to device.

Collections contains: series, and one custom series field

Downgrade to 2.2.0 no other change collections written to device.

Steps, reset collection data to be written in device plugin.
Re-Installed app, no other config change.
Downgraded, collections writted - no change to cfg reset w/ 2.3.0

Preferences->Sending books to device Make sure metadata management is
set to automatic.

Note that that option will cause collections to be automatically updated on the device every time you connect. If you want to see why collections are not being created on send, run calibre in debug mode (right click the preferences button) and post the debug log.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every Friday.
