Bug Description

Win 8

Polish:
1)save height/width ratio in polish/modify epub
note: it would appear that it IS in polish even though it's not specifically mentioned.

6)add 'check book' to either 'modify epub' or 'polish books'

Metadata Download:
2)showing metadata options as they come up like in the download cover portion.

3)saving metadata sort (has picture, etc.)

4)option in configure for download 'just' metadata or image.

5)somewhere an option to remove/not add duplicate comments (from downloaded metadata)

7) differentiate 'ok', and 'next'- 'ok' should close the cover download too.

8)side arrows work too on metadata download, and 'enter' works on image download AFTER using arrows to navigate images

*******

9)a button to revert all metadata changes on current book only- if you go one by one, and then make a mistake, it's annoying to have to redo everything, or have to deal with it.

10)a button to revert to 'original_epub'

If you mean preserving aspect ratio of covers in EPUB files, that is
controleed via an option in Preferences->Output Options->EPUB Output.
Polish Book is never going to get any options of its own, it is designed
for simple, one off operations.

No.

No, metadata results are consolidated.

No, this is often different for different books and the default sort is
by an internally computed relevance metric.

Simply click OK twice to only download metadata. Or use the downlaod
cover button to only download covers.

Simply double click OK to close the dialog.

I have no idea what that means.

Right click on the entry for the EPUB format in the book details panel

Simply double click OK to close the dialog.

then you still have to different buttons next to each other, with different names, but do the exact same thing.

I have no idea what that means.

in metadata+cover download inside edit metadata i'm requesting that use of the 'left' 'right' arrows keys be allowed while using arrows to choose metadata.

in metadata+cover download inside edit metadata the 'okay/download' button be triggered on use of the 'enter' key AFTER using arrows to navigate images (i.e. if you use the arrows so select a different cover image, pressing 'enter' does nothing.)

No they dont do exactly the same thing, I'll leave it as an exercise for
you to figure out the difference.
