Bug Description
Look at the screenshot:
"Project Aon" author was globally set as "Aon, Project" (default Calibre behaviour). But from the book metadata editor I've called Manage Authors and I've fixed it so the global author sort is now set to "Project Aon".
But when I return to the book (through OK), the Author Sort of the book continues in red, and it should be green.
(What you are seeing in the screenshot is the second call to Manage Authors from the book metadata dialogue).
If I close and re-open the metadata dialogue, the field is correctly rendered in green.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every Friday.
