calibre 2.1 won't save column layout

Bug Description

Every time I open the latest version of Calibre 2.1.0 it won't save the column layout. I have to manually adjust them each time. I did not experience this problem in version 2.0.0.

Run calibre inde bug mode and post the log

To run calibre in debug mode, right click the preferences button and
select restart in debug mode

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every Friday.
