1) I run: ebook-convert input .epub out.mobi --personal-doc=PDOC
2) The result our.mobi has EBOK set up in 501 exth field.

I expect that should be PDOC set up in 501 exth field.

You need --personal-doc=PDOC and --tags=PDOC

There is still problem with 501 exth field.

As you wrote I performed test:

ebook-convert ~/Downloads/Dracula/Dracula.epub out.mobi --personal-doc=PDOC --tags=PDOC

The result mobi (attached) still has EBOK set up in 501 exth field.

So how to covert epub files to get PDOC set up in exth 501 field without sending result Mobi to device?
