Edit Book: Tabs are not identified in the lower left corner

Bug Description

With the "new" feature about character identification at the left side of the cursor, I don't get identification on Tabs.

When I type a Tab I only get the line and column but not TABULATION (or something like that).

(Calibre 1.19 64-bit although running from source).

A possible spin-off? Or is it normal?

+ Look at the screenshot. A tab (U+0009) is identified in a quite strange manner.

+ And well you cannot search just through "tab" in the search text box. It gives you nothing.
(Because in wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C0_Controls_and_Basic_Latin it is also called HT, I've also tested that).

Insert character does not include ascii control codes, since the only two control codes that are udeful -- newline and tab -- can be easily inserted using the keyboard.
