calibre-parallel has stopped working

I am trying to open a .mobi file and I get a notice that "calibre-parallel has stopped working". I have attached that file to this bug report. Calibre recognizes the format and gets the metadata correct for the publisher and author. It also fails to convert the file to epub format. The results from the failed conversion copied to clipboard are:

I am using calibre v. 1.17 [64bit], OS is Windows 7 Ultimate

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every Friday.
